Basic events
89 min: The wolves have 10 men on the back of the ball as the villa continues to press and investigate for a late balance. The ball was played behind Malen, whose snap-shot in turn was saved by Sa.
86 min: There is a break in the gaming as Bellegarde comes down with a cramp and needs to receive treatment. “Champions League! You’re laughing!” Chant the molineux honestly. Wolves Substitution: Hugo Bueno in Bellegarde, the goalcorer.
83 min: Villa Substitution: Kosta Nedeljkovic in for Lamare Bogarde. That was UNAI Emery’s last disposal of dice because Villa used all five subs. The hats of Bogarde, who put more than a move to 84 minutes of this game than his Uncle Winston did for four years in Chelsea.
82 min: Maatsen’s cross to the Wolves’ penalty place was that it was cleared but Villa continued to kill the screw. Wolves players cling to their leadership.
79 min: Replacing the Wolves: Hwang Hee-chan is for Sarabia, who actually removed it, the second occasion climbed the fourth board officer in red lights.
77 min: Cunha’s low, weak free-kick is managed by Martinez but the referee orders a restoration for some reason or something else-honestly I don’t know what. Cunha’s second effort only hit the high and wide top corners.
75 min: Wolves free-kick for a chamber foul in Bellegarde a few yards outside the penalty area, left of the middle. Very good position.
72 min: Wolves Double-Substitution: Rodrigo Gomes and Tommy Doyle and arrives for AIT-Nouri and Guedes. There is a break in play as officials try to find out how many players the balloons in the pitch before the two subs arrive. I’m not sure how this confusion appeared – probably because Sarabia’s number climbed the board at some point.
70 min: Semedo runs with a ball played from deep in the middle. Offside.
68 min: Cunha and Bogarde Tussle as they chase the ball to the villa’s byline. Bogarde was stronger and the ball ran out of play for a villa goal-kick.
64 min: On a yellow card, Morgan Rogers escaped a second despite being punished for a somewhat miserable miserable misery to Matheus Cunha. He needs to be careful.
63 min: Agbadou is preventing from Bailey after a good job to the left of Konssa and Jacob Ramsey.
61 min: It is noteworthy that the “Equalizer” villa ruled is a great set-piece straight outside the Austin McPhee handbook and Morgan Rogers no need to hinder Semedo in the build-up, regardless of the rights or mistakes of the decision that Malen’s efforts would not allow.
59 min: Wolves free-kick, wide to the right. Matheus Cunha’s cross to the nearby post was half-cleared and the home side appeal for a penalty after a malen kicked the back of Toti’s heel while trying to clean the ball. I saw them give them less but the Villa replacement was away from it.
The purpose of the villa not allowed var
54 min: This is a great set-piece task straight to the training area. The ball was played low on Bailey’s ground to McGinn, which were squares for Malen to tap at home from nearby.
The goal was ruled out for an Rogers offside despite the player not touching the ball after a var Consultation but I’m not sure it should. Officials at Stockley Park seem to think he interrupted the play by preventing Nelson Semedo while the free kick was combined toward McGinn.
52 min: The Rogers fell to the wolves’ penalty place and scratched Doherty’s ball. It is a soft free-kick for the villa in a good position, three yards out of the wolves penalty area, left in the middle. Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has been booked for protest against the free-kick award.
51 min: Sarabia plays a weighted ball toward the byline for Semedo to chase, he attaches a cross to the penalty place but the flag goes up.
49 min: Ah, there we go. Onana was beaten by Bellegarde and the villa had a free kick to the right. McGinn floats the ball to the remote post, where Joseph’s claim is easy.
48 min: Villa subs participated as Bailey played a crossfield pass in Maatsen, washing the ball towards Malen. The balloons remove their lines before Amadou Onana can hold his oar.
Second half: Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
46 min: Play a resume with four changes to the staff for the villa. Amadou Onana, Ian Maatsen, Donyell Malen and Leon Bailey are in Garcia, Digne, Ramsey and Watkins.
OLLIE WATKINS: I would be surprised if we see the Aston Villa striker coming out for the second half. He is in the obvious discomfort with the damage to the groin that will only worsen if he plays this game.
An email: “Re: Sarabia’s booking,” Adam Roberts wrote. “In the Half Man Half Biscuit’s ‘Paintball’s Coming Home’ there is this couplet: ‘If I were a line, I would make defenders applaud my offides’.”
An email: “I can’t believe Villa sold their Colombian striker!” Peter writes oh. “Someone goes to Duran Duran Banter.” Without him, they wouldn’t seem to be hungry like balloons. “
HALF-TIME: Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
The sides are entering for the rest with the balloons leading their local rivals through the only purpose of the game, marked by Jean-Ricner Bellegarde. They left many possibilities with a blade to expand their lead, choosing them without Goncalo Guedes missed by the follow-up after Matheus Cunha failed to defeat Martinez in a one-on-one. The balloons are on the pitch and scoreboard but there is only the kick of a ball in it.
45+5 min: Guedes shoots in turn from a narrow angle but Martinez rejected. It’s not as easy as his past two opportunities but this is a chance yet. It’s half an hour.
45+4 min: Cunha sends a low cross to the villa box after giving Andres Garcia a slip. Ezri Konsa slide to interfere.
45+3 min: Lamare Bogarde was booked for foul in Rayan Ait-nouri.
45+2 min: We will be in four minutes of added time by the end of this first half. Balloons are worth their lead and should be earlier. Their goalkeeper Jose Sa, has not yet saved.
45 min: Bellegarde plays guedes in the back of the villa’s defense but his shooting indicates Martinez’s bows to the far corner of a far -off pole yard. Those are the two glorious opportunities that Portuguese missed.
43 min: Oh dear. Ollie Watkins appears to be in discomfort and feels her groin. This is a nice job villa have Jhon Duran in the reser … Oh.
40 min: Jacob Ramsey will be punished for a flawless, if inadvertently, traveling to Sarabia in the area between the Touchline and the Villa penalty area. He protects his being innocent in the most -vociferous terms but like Sarabia, has no legs to stand. Chamber sends the free kick for a corner, where no one will come.
38 min: Ollie Watkins went to the ground after being caught in the small back of Joseph’s knee while the duo opposed a high ball winning the wolves goalkeeper. It’s a disease but I don’t think it’s too serious.
35 min: Rogers tried to play Ramsey on purpose but his pass was so good intercepted – I think – Agbadou. The wolves separated upfield and cunha outmuscles chamber to find himself clean on purpose. With the purpose of the villa at his mercy and only Martinez to defeat, he was too close to the goalkeeper. Goncalo Guedes is walking a follow-up width and a glorious opportunity to double their lead will go garbage for balloons.
34 min: Pablo Sarabia has been booking for – I liked it – disgusted with one of the referee’s assistants after raising her flag.
32 min: McGinn and Bellegarde have an off-the-ball uprising of the songs that leave the villa skipper holding a face and talking about his opponent. On a yellow card, McGinn has to control his anger.
32 min: Sarabia floats the ball toward the remote post, the agbadou nips to the back to the ball nod all over the goal and hack it by the villa. The flag went up for the outside, though I wasn’t sure why. Agbadou is definitely next to it.
