The first song I fell in love with
My father had previously occurred the Beatles he referred to as Abbey Road Nights. I was only two or three, so I couldn’t read it but I could use the record player. Sometimes when I want strawberry fields forever, I’ll get a turn! ! ! by Mary Hopkin and wonder why it doesn’t sound like The Beatles.
The first single I bought
Roxanne of the police, from Lion Records in Colchester.
The song I do with karaoke
Blue Elton John’s Blue Eyes. I saw a clip of Robbie Williams and Danny Dyer doing Parklife. It’s flipping weird, even though I like Danny Dyer. That song is overplay now. People want to have a knee-up, just like knee up mother brown or roll the barrel.
The song I can’t explain to know every lyrics
Bat out of hell by meat bread. Think about it, maybe I’ve done that many times in karaoke than I have blue eyes.
The best song to play in a festival
Recently I re -discovered Don Fagan’s new border after finding it confusing in the 80s. Now I have to have four times a few times. It got unlucky, sarcastic lyrics and an amazing groove.
The song I will never listen to
Anything through carpenters, besides farewell to love. The rest makes me feel like injected acid and sugar, which makes me happy because of the tragedy of carpenters.
The secret song I like but all I hate
I didn’t really admit that Barbra Streisand liked, even though Evergreen was beautiful. Recently I was able to palate ABBA and was obsessed with by putting all your love for me.
The song that changed my life
When I was a teenager, entering the Van der Graraf generator, Caravan, which matches Mole and Robert Wyatt, King Crimson’s road women have changed my life, because it is unique. I learned the SAX, as well as the guitar, and it got the most dirty tenor saxophone solo ever.
The song that rose to me in the morning
My father exploded through Duke Ellington’s blow to Vinyl. Paul Gonsalves’s Sax Solo has cited the rest of the album. I thought it was out there, just like the free bebop becoming more free. I still listen to it every morning.
The song that makes me scream
I have three. I tried them this morning. If you leave by Scott Walker. The way of love before, and moments, both of the kinks. When I listened to the way I used to love, the lump in my throat was a bit heavy. So I think I have to win.
The song I wish to play with my funeral
It will be my man by the wham! But I don’t like people chucking at my funeral. I wish they were in emotional misery. So inheritance by talk talk.
Waeve is on tour to 21 March. The new EP of the band, EternalIt’s out now. Blur’s The Magic Whip’s 10th Vinyl Release of Vinyl Relelease appeared on April 25.
