Armie Hammer repeated his denial of claims that he was a cannibal and that he had sexually abused a number of women.
The actor speaks to Louis Theroux Podcast on Spotify, and responds to Theroux’s direct question: “Are you a cannibal?” Hammer replied: “You know what you need to do to be a cannibal? You really need to eat human flesh. So no.”
Hammer was accused of rape and physical abusive behavior in 2021 by a woman, known as EFFIE, claimed to have raped her in 2017, and shared screenshots of graphic texts allegedly sent Hammer, who was with one where the actor appeared to declare himself a cannon. At least two other women subsequently advanced the accusations of sexual coercion and emotional abuse from Hammer between 2017 and 2020, with ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze.
La County authorities refused to pursue sexual attacks against Hammer, and he previously rejected the claims of an interview with Tyler Ramsey in 2024.
Hammer told Theroux that he would “not argue with messages” but they formed “a part of a conversation”, and that “it [was] It’s fun to joke about whether I’m stoned or drunk or like laughter while I’m typing these messages ”.
