The View of the Gazer’s Care of Gaza: When 17,000 dies, it is more than a mistake | Editorial

ON Sunday, an Israeli strike killed six children in Palestinian – and four adults – as they lined up for water in a refugee camp. The death of children may be the most haunted -scratched part of any war. It is not only the suffering of innocent and powerless, and the unimaginable illness of the survivors – as they are as terrible – as they are – but the knowledge of the lives ends when they are almost out of date, with futures that should be long for the distance to an instant.

As surprisingly as the death of the week, they are usually in Gaza: a value of the children’s classroom has been killed daily since the war began. What they are marked with is the many deaths at the same time and publicly; And the military of Israel felt obliged to recognize its responsibility – even without a major outbreak. It claimed that a “technical munition error” caused it to miss its intended target and added that “it regrets any harm to non -civilians”.

What does this blood, bureaucratic language have to do with the bloody deaths of six -traumatic children? These deaths are not a mistake. They were a tragedy – like the 10 children who were killed days before, as they lined out of a clinic. The Israeli military said, again, that it regrets any harm to civilians. And yet the bodies of the children were pile. Children were killed while they were covered in former schools; The children were killed as they fled to Israel’s forces; The children were killed while they were sleeping at home.

The Gaza Ministry of Health said that more than 17,000 of the 58,000 Palestinians were killed were children. Israel said it aims to reduce the damage to civilians. Death is assumed and Israel’s intelligence sources told reporters last year that they were sometimes allowed to kill up to 20 civilians to take even junior militants – who had the desire to attack targets when they were home, because it was easier.

These six thirsty children should not need to queue for water because the UN calls a drought man -made. Human Rights Watch believes that thousands of Palestinians have died because of the deliberate pattern of Israeli’s actions to remove them with water, appreciating the crime against humanity of extermination as well as genocide works. These 10 hungry children should not need nutritional supplements, but Israel continues to remove help and civilians are hungry. UNRWA said that a tenth of children who were sconned at their clinics were malnourished.

Thousands of children were seriously injured; There are many amputees. In February of last year, nearly 17,000 were identified as unaccompanied or separated from their families. The very young are among those who are at least able to hunger and ill. How many will survive this conflict? How many can stay in Gaza? How many can live anything like a normal life one day? How many can only see revenge or lack of hope before them?

Meanwhile, Israeli’s parents called for the release of the hostage and ceasefire deal to end this conflict, and where Benjamin Netanyahu fought. Allies, including EU and Britain, remain complicated in this war. They should ask themselves what they will do if their children are faced at least one day what the Gaza in the Moon endured.

Gaza children have the same rights as children anywhere – in water, in food, in shelter, in education, play, hope, in joy. In life. But on Sunday, Israel killed Abdullah Yasser Ahmed, Badr Al-Din Qarman, Siraj Khaled Ibrahim, Ibrahim Ashraf Abu Urayban, Karam Ashraf Al-Ghussein and Lana Ashraf Al-Ghussein.

They are children. They are expensive.
